Ruby Rose: I was first contacted by Ate Vinette (Walvinette Alfaro) two days before the contest. I was quite nervous and excited right then as I am representing my town of Paniqui.
The venue was at the TSU gym in Tarlac City. Although feeling a bit nervous, I don't really mind if I win or not, I just want to be as presentable as possible to appropriately represent my town.
But my spirits grew stronger as I surprisingly became the crowd favorite. It was amazing because I was as if the local bet and people are chanting my name. It was a great experience and I thank the judges for choosing me among the other candidates.
I am so happy for winning this as my own little way of giving pride and honor to my townmates.
