Shameless plug. Its my 34th birthday this coming November 29. Yes, that's 34... three and a half decades of joyful(?) existence.

For this year, I decided to work on something that I truly enjoy as a gift to myself and as a gift to others who knows about me.

And so instead of the usual Red Horse party that I usually host during my birthdays, I decided to work on a new design for ePaniqui Online as my gift to the people of Paniqui.

Believe me, it ain't easy. We are using an older version of the Joomla CMS. I wanted to migrate it to the newest version which may mean that a few things may be missed out in the new version.

So after 3 straight nights (2 hours average sleep per day), here is the version 3 of ePaniqui OnLine. We simply named it as V3.

So what's new with V3?

First, each and every article can now be submitted to any of your favorite social networking site... Facebook, Twitter, Digg, MySpace and more. Just hover over the Share/Save link at the bottom of each page.

We now have a twitter account at http://twitter.com/epaniqui, entries of which are being autimatically "fed" to a module at the frontpage of our website. It is so much easy to twit, thus we can now readily provide updates whenever we want to.

The cute bird popping out of the bottom page is a graphical link to our twitter account. :)

We now have Ad Spaces for sale. Each Ad Space is worth $35 ANNUALLY. Interested? Email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more details.

Talk to Us! Its a module where you can chat direct with one of ePaniqui Online staff. Its at the bottom right corner.

The ShoutBox was moved at the Main Menu via Interactive --> ShoutBox. A new window without browser navigation will pop out.

Commenting is now made simpler but kept more secure to scare those nasty spammers away.

The gallery is being reworked but the old gallery is still available at http://epaniqui.com/gallery.

User account database are being purged accordingly. Those who didn't confirmed their registration or never logged in to this website were deleted.

The design concept is being "lean and mean" but in reality, most features and functions are still intact.

We now have a Tell a Friend module. Its a nifty tool to recommend this website to your fellow online paniquenian.

At the moment, jobs are being posted to populate a component under For Investors --> Job Postings.

This design is best viewed with Firefox 3.5.x and Opera web browsers.

To those who always belittle us on the premise that there is not a single flash animation in this website... sorry guys and gals, we are not a fan of flash animations. Less is more.

I sincerely hope that most will appreciate the new yet simpler design although constructive comments are always welcome.
