Nego-Kart Project
The Local Government of Paniqui and DOLE chose 10 qualified Paniquenians as beneficiaries for the NEGOKART, late December 14 and 15, 2011. These beneficiaries are identified as individuals who belong to poverty threshold level. They are workers/entrepreneurs running a business for a meager income just to survive. They sell goods within the the vicinity of the town proper and neighboring barangays using thier improvised bicycle.

DOLE gave an amount of P150, 000.00 to the Local Government Unit of Paniqui last November 9, 2011 in accordance to the project. Each beneficiary is provided with a total of P15, 000 in assistance including a vending cart and accessory livelihood tools, along with working capital.

They were also given Entrepreneurship Development Training as part of the project, late December 14 and 15, 2011. It was attended by two resource speaker, PESO staffs, mayor’s representative, and a DOLE representative.

The NEGOKART, also known as NEGOSYO sa KARITON, is a project of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) which intends to provide basic livelihood for the benefit of marginal workers.
