APO reaches out with MEDCAP |

The alumni of the Alpha Phi Omega of Paniqui, Tarlac in cooperation with Mayor Miguel Dors Rivilla recently conducted a free Medical and Dental Mission in Barangay Dapdap last June 21, 2009.
No less than 500 patients coming from different nearby barangays were served during the MEDCAP held in the barangay plaza.
The medical dental mission started at 9:00 am and commenced at 3:00 pm that wasl ed by various doctors, optometrists, and dentists wherein some of them are also members of APO.
General checkups were administered by Dr. Raymond Tanedo. Dental extractions were conducted free by the APO Dental Association of the Philippines and APO Psi (CEU) Alumni Association led by Dr. Jun Martinez and Dr. Jan Paul Cristobal, respectively. Dr. Labutong took care of the eye examinations and check ups.
Free reading glasses, multivitamins, and various medicines were also distributed.
The activity was coordinated by Engr. Christian Manalo, Adab Adolfo, Marsha Alomia, and Oswaldo Alfaro with the efforts of a working committee led by Ofelia Chichoco, Mayeth Domingo and Herman Manalo.
Aside from the local alumni group, chapter members of APO Zeta Gamma Chapter, APO Zeta Delta Chapter, and APO Montreal Canada contributed to ensure the success of endeavor.
Mayor Miguel Rivilla and his wife Anna were also present to show their support and appreciation to the willing benefactors
The Alpha Phi Omega is set to conduct a similar MEDCAP mission in Barangay San Isidro sometime in the month of August, 2009.
