The LGU of Paniqui, Tarlac thru its IT section is set to implement the database build up for the electronic Real Property Tax System as its designated personnels went under an extensive training last June 1 to 5, 2009 at the Lisland Resort in Urdaneta City.

Municipal Assessor Antonio Paragas, August Domingo and this writer were designated by Mayor Dors Rivilla to implement the said information system that will modernize the facilitation and transactions of the payment of Real Property Tax.

The implementation of the system will result to faster and accurate  RPT transactions to the benefit of both the constituents and the LGU.

As per estimates, it will take a year to finish the database build up alone as the LGU has more than 31,000 real property units.

On the other hand, the electronic Business Permit and Licensing Sytem (eBPLS) is already ready to be fully implemented in the first week of July in cooperation with the Office of the Municipal Treasurer.
