Free Joomla! CMS Training

Last week, from May 19 to 21, eight municipal governments and one local school underwent indepth training on how to rapidly develop and deploy websites using the Joomla! Content Management System.

More Joomla! based websites are expected to sprout as the IT section of the Municipal Government of Paniqui, Tarlac is willing to provide free Joomla! CMS training to all interested parties.

Mr. David T. Asuncion, Jr., a long time Joomla! user and advocate, was the resource speaker for the 3 day training.

LGUs of Dinalupihan, Bataan; Atimonan, Quezon, Gen. M. Alvarez, Cavite; Rosales, Pangasinan; Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan; San Antonio, Nueva Ecija; San Marcelino, Zambales; and Talavera, Nueva Ecija were present in the training. There were also instructors from the Interworld Colleges Foundation in the class. Another class for the second batch composed of schools and socio-civic organizations is currently being held at the Conference Room.
