|
350 out of school youths (OSY) of Paniqui will receive free computer education training courtesy of a joint project between the Aihu Foundation and the Local Government Unit of Paniqui, Tarlac. Aihu Foundation has been implementing the project since 2005 and has already benefitted more than 14,000 people from all over Luzon. The beneficiaries were chosen via a screening committee led by the Municipal Social Welfare Office in cooperation with a group of computer instructors from the Aihu Foundation. o0o On other related developments, John Ranel Morazo of Barangay Coral again led the Far Eastern University Chess Team in the 13th GACC World Inter-Varsity Chess Championship held last November 29 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His team got the bronze medal. ePaniqui would like to thank a Paniquenian abroad who recently gave a TV and DVD player to the Barang Elementary School. The donor however wanted to be anonymous so we just call him Mr. B. More blessings to you Mr. B for your genuine generosity.
