Mayor Dors to deliver SOMA this Monday

It's history in the making.

Mayor Dors RivillaMayor Miguel Cojuangco Rivilla is about to make history as he delivers his first ever State of the Municipality Address this Monday August 04, 2008 at around 8:00 am to be shown live via internet video on this website.

Mayor Dors will be the first municipal mayor in the country to have live webcast SOMA on the LGU's official website.

The SOMA will during the regular Monday session of the Sangguniang Bayan at the SB Hall at the 3rd floor of the Municipal Town Hall Building.  He will deliver his speech anytime on the morning of said date.

Expected to be present in the said event are municipal officials, department heads, and local government employees.

The webcast will be shown using ustream.tv embedded on a content article to be published on the frontpage of this website.  Viewers are advised to install flash player on their browser and use Mozilla Firefox browser as much as possible.

Mayor Rivilla shall relate to his constituents his accomplishments in his first year of his first term and his future plans and programs for the people of Paniqui.

The live stream video of his SOMA will let his constituents from all over the world to simultaneously watch the Mayor on real time as he delivers his first ever SOMA.

Aside from the live stream, a video of the SOMA will also be uploaded to this website via YouTube.  The website administrator (aka fishfillet) shall also be blogging about the event on a chatbox just under the actual live feed.
