Bring in your laptops at the second floor of the Paniqui Town Hall and enjoy free internet access as LGU Paniqui is now a WiFi Zone -- a first among local government units in the province of Tarlac.

"This is our way of enticing our people to get into the internet and let them enjoy the benefits of being connected to the World Wide Web."  Mayor Revilla said.

Aside from the establishment of a WiFi zone, the ICT group were also able to establish a wired local area network in the main building of the Paniqui Town Hall in preparation the various eGovernance initiatives being lined up by the current administration of the youthful and enthusiastic mayor.  The local area network included 11 computers all with internet access via a Squid proxy server.

The free internet WiFi service is available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to all Paniquenians on weekdays.  Those who would want to avail should first ask for a wep key from the ICT unit to get connected to the network.
