Jobs Fair 2007 held at the covered court at the back of the Municipal Town Building, proved to be an instant success as around 1,400 Paniquenians went to file their job applications with 29 hiring companies participating in the event.

Even Mayor Miguel Rivilla was surprised to see the influx of people who went at the venue.  As early as now he is already contemplating of launching another Jobs Fair to accomodate all the aspiring job applicants.

In his short speech, Mayor Rivilla profusely thanked all those behind the success of the event including the hiring companies, the organizers, and even the job applicants themselves.

Rivilla reiterated that it has been his utmost priority to provide more job opportunities to his constituents to improve the quality of their living standards.

Jobs Fair 2007 was a whole day event.  The office of the Municipal Human Resource Management Officer shall monitor the status of applications for the participants.  Other companies have already signified to coordinate their job openings to the LGU even its not on a Jobs Fair.  Click here for photos. {mos_fb_discuss:9}
